The Dubai Hub - The Lifestyle Interchange Station

         

          The endless route of transports will bring you to places around the Dubai Hub, lifestyle Center. Refresh your everyday life on a public transportation, by spending only a few minute swap to the mall vehicle and stop by a cafe or spend time on Moving Starbuck Cabin. Our special moving cabin act like a train where it brings you to various parts of this village and it schedule to lapse with the city and express Metro line. Enchanted your ordinary life with this new experience of the underground mall. We promise the memorable moment with exotic and creative idea you never had before. Welcome to the Dubai Hub where everything connects for the future lifestyle.

          The program inside basically can be understand as a compass where the North is mainly for creativity, the South is more about shopping, and the West Bay for Highend brand and fashion event, together with The East Bay where dining and tradition Market is located. These program all links together by the transportation we provided privilege for our dear customers. There are 3 main moving platform which also contain moving cabin with various shop inside, sometimes special cabin is added for occasional events. As well as the canal that many ferries will sail you around from East to West. Connected to the Camel track where it leads people from above ground. And the triangular train the connect from main moving platform to theater and gallery. 

          This is the connection of the whole city which we have been research and provided for your convenient. The Red and green line is the existing metro while the purple line is the future express line and blue line is the future city line where both of them would connect the Dubai Airport to the new largest airport in the world. These two new line will travel along new major development such as Residential, them park, golf club, and shopping mall. The Yellow line above is the future tram line that would runs along the sea coast and will be finish approximately in 2014. The turquoise line is where the Handmade camel is, this project is actually have been postpone but if it happens, this will cause a major economic flow to the city of Emirates.

          By analyzing these public and private transports in Dubai and the whole emirates, we came up with the solution of providing space for these vehicle that may available and might be uses mainly in the future. This includes Charging station for Electric vehicle, fixing and parking station for bike or bike-like vehicle, and space provide for transform vehicle that contains with various of shops. But we have to tell you that inside the mall, we only allow zero carbon emissive vehicle to drive in. We know that we all need to be healthy and feel good, so we want the environment to be the best for you.

          The two metro line weave in, connecting, and create an interchange station at the center of square land that intersected by two major road of Dubai. Consequently, the long line of two metro discard the parallel and intersect, making the north and south city connected. The mall become nodes of connection provided in the city.

          This Mall idea derives from the study of The Burning Man festival. It is the festival for all ages people to gathers on a desert land of Nirvana, Black Rock Desert. All theme camps and Transform vehicles were built by creative people create the Blackrock city. Without these unique people who made these interesting cultures, the Burning Man festival would not be the significant event well known around the world.

This is the perception of a space provided for transform vehicles. Since every shop wants to standout, we encourage them to come up with as most create as possible on the design. This also leads an interesting function for customer to have a pleasure shopping environment. 

The platform will be open for all shops, but all vehicle need to be zero carbon emission and stylish!

Every entrance is extra-ordinary. This one the visitors need to access via cable cars, the transparent gondola will slowly move visitors from very bright outdoor to dark tunnel then access to the sand ride dome where sand physically flow from outside in and going back up again via mechanical tube. These gondolas move further to its drop off at another circular space. However, Visitors have another option of staying in the vans that will drive straight into inside the dome after enjoying extreme sand ride.

And this too, even though it has the same structure but the floor is surrounded by the canal that split to two at the end of tunnel. Under this is the major interchange station where people can access via elevator, escalator and stairs. Along with the cars tunnel that approach this dome and turns into a floating bridge using tensile structure. This will less interrupts the  pleasure of visitor by using very few structure of the new technology in construction. 

This is the Central Garden dome for public uses and the park also available for weekend market.

Transform vehicle Shopping environment. Good thing about these vehicle is that it become the movable ads that will reach more people in the city.

The treasure room is actually supporting the sand ride dome, by containing machines  and tube to transport sand back to above ground. Uniquely, Visitors will experience the movable walkway forms by dunes of sand, approaching shop at slightly different height at all time

Additionally, the capriccio we analyzed, had also shape our idea through the narratives of the mall. We experiment them by investigating and produces a series of alterations. This first one is the final transform of Interior of the Cunerakerk Rhenen by Batholomeus Van Bassen. From the painting series of Architectural illusion. As you can see, the 3D model is a replica of this space in real scale. By removing all the temporary objects the space change totally that it gives a new feeling towards audiences.
