The mall is proposed to be under the road and street in Al Ras district, Deira where the spice souk located. The area is dense and building are build not according to any grid which create many sub street . The sub street allowed the mall to expand as a network through out the whole area.
Inside the mall, space were arranged as narrow corridor which allowed you to see only certain part of shops and activity happening in each curved of the mall. This arrangement is proposed according to the thesis, to keep people moving forward by slight transition.
The diagram showing the node point where you will see many transition and activity criss cross each other from one standing point and also the way the shop will be arranged in the mall to create the maximum shifted both physical transit and activity transit.
Entrance
This entrance is designed to let the visitor descending to the mall from wide to narrow.
