FINAL REVIEW part 1

A diagrammatic plan showing the placement of different static and dynamic narrative elements.
I need to continue on defining more specific narratives and possibilities of role playing by customers.

A view of the of the mountain narrative and how other narratives are combined into the space by the dynamic walls.

Route diagram and tourist map

Leaflet example for the mall

Diagram show each transport

When every transport overlayed eachothers and create the whole mall (station)

And they connect by nodes of these interchange station.

And this shows each route with difference speed.

Final Review Part 1

Final Review Part 1

Plan: Showing the programs on the center hub with the crater leading down to the underground metro station. The circulation shows the ramp heading from different entrances to bring different human tribes into the mall. The different routes intersects causing the people to collide leading down to various programs with no boundary between each other.

Updated render

Rendering progress: In this rendering, i tried to show the change in surface materials on the wall as well as on the ground. I also try to show the columns I had in my plan to direct the circulation of my underground shopping mall.

Updated site drawing, construction method and plan of the mall

This is the line drawing of the site.

Plan Update

This is the updated program arrangement so far with the grid system that goes along the circulation route. This means that there will not be that much wall. The boundary and threshold between each program is directed through the placement of the columns according to my grid system. Now the program is shown diagrammatically by color coding:
orange- nightclub
blue- water related programs
light brown- sand related programs
purple- mosque
green- grass related program

Render of the idea in the mall

The first render of high level of intricacy without the roof

The updated render of high level of intricacy with the roof structure and new arrangement of the programs

This is the view from outside the transition space, where the shape is starting to distort from rectangular shape (high intricacy) to circular shape where there is a low level of intricacy.

Progress on plan

The above is the revised plan drawing which I included service areas on the same floor to minimize the amount of unused space. The underground floor would now be the circulation for service trucks.

The service area is divided into 2 parts:
1. Staff service: stairs, lifts, staff toilets, administrative offices, staff canteen, storage
2. Customer service: stairs, lifts, toilets
All toilets. lifts and stairs are 100 metres away from each other

In the diagram above:
Brown: Customer service area
Purple: Staff service area
Green: underground service area (truck loading area)

This is the zoom in section the ocean zone of the mall which has an opening towards the above island. The section shows the circulation methods: trucks, boat and pedestrian.

Structure Development & Renderings

In progress render view of the Sky Dome

Updated from Structural Clinics + Progress thus far
The diagram above explains and demonstrates the use of 3dimensional grid as a technique for creating polyhedra modules which essentially become both spatial elements as well as structure spines for the underground shopping mall.

Updates on Underground Shopping Mall

This is the updated plan where the different line colors are the circulation of the ramp that comes from the ground level of the shopping mall from different entrances that surrounds the hub. Each circulation color represents the different entrance route. This is where my grid system will derive from, which is having the grid system constructed based on the flow of the people. Each entrance has one ramp that leads them in like a main artery and then each ramp would starts to separate to sub routes that leads to different directions in the shopping mall. Where each routes intersect creates a space where in those spaces, the programs will be inserted accordingly. The rest of the plan shows the network where people circulate following the road of the ground level leading to the hub.
